World Rabies Day event in Oita Japan
In Japan we have "Kind-to-Animals Week" from 20 to 26, every
September,
based on the Animal Protection Act (Law No.105, October 01, 1963),
managed by the Ministry of Environment.
During this period, some related festival is held nationwide in each prefecture.
In Oita prefecture, about 880km from capital Tokyo, the "Family-Animal
Bond Festival"
was held on September 23 in Oita Central Park organized by Oita city public
health center.

In this festival the "animal shelter activity" booth and Oita
Veterinary Association booth
were setup and WRD flyer was distributed to fair-goers.
